91³Ô¹ÏÍø staff complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Alzheimer's Society

On Saturday, a team of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø staff embarked upon the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. Regarded as the most underestimated challenge in the UK, the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is a 24 miles round trip taking on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough (a total ascent of 5200ft) in under 12 hours.

After a bright and early departure from the hotel at 5am, the team of 14 91³Ô¹ÏÍø staff began the hike at Ribbleshead. After taking on Whernside, Ingleborough proved a steep and windy challenge. After the joy of completing two of the three peaks, our walkers had another few hours of hiking through the quaint Horton in Ribblesdale before they reached Pen-y-Ghent, the final (and rather exhausting) hurdle!

After 12 hours, 11 of our team of 14 made it to the finish, exhausted and aching but thrilled.

We're proud to have raised over £3,500 for the Alzheimer's Society, a fantastic charity supporting a cause very close to our hearts. We are so grateful for all the support from our friends, family and the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø community. We look forward to our next challenge!
