91³Ô¹ÏÍø Library holds first editions of four of Jane Austen’s novels. This very good fortune the library owes to two 91³Ô¹ÏÍø men, born 13 years apart: one still extremely renowned today, especially in Oxford and bibliographical circles; the other did not live long enough ever to be so. Both also have in common remarkable soldierships in the Second World War.
